Welcome!

If you are trying to stay away from certain ingredients in your food, this site is for you.

When I find myself at a fast food restaurant, or any kind of restaurant, I find it hard to order anything at all because I really want to stay away from certain ingredients which are used frequently in many establishments. This website ought to make things a bit easier for us to check for some of those pesky ingredients we don't like in our food.

Please keep in mind, I'm not trying to bash these places...I enjoy eating restaurant and fast food once in a while. I just want to make it easier to look up which items do and do not have these particular ingredients.

These charts are made based on what I found on each establishment's website or from making a phone call or sending an email to ask them personally. There may be some mistakes, and some new information might not be updated right away, but I will try my best to keep up with changes. Also, most all of the online information states that their "ingredients may vary by supplier."

Also, at this time I am only listing menu items that contain the ingredients listed on the charts; however, later I may add all menu items whether they have one of these ingredients or not, perhaps adding color to the items that don't contain any of these ingredients. I also plan to eventually add other ingredients like common allergens.
UPDATE: I am now beginning to add all menu items... those in green are the ones that contain none of the listed ingredients.

To your left is a list of all the places I have information for so far. Just click the link to get to the one you want to know about. And check back frequently...I will be adding more restaurants as often as possible.

I would love to know your opinion on which way is easier to look up the menu items, whether you like everything in alphabetical order, or having them separated under specific menu headings, like Drinks, Desserts, Burgers, etc. There are examples of both ways with the different restaurants. For a good example of these differences look at both 'A & W' and 'Jack in the Box' to compare, and let me know which way you prefer in the comments section below...
